My Grandma's Famous Chocolate Lazy Cake

My grandma told me she hasn’t met a single soul who didn’t like this decadent lazy cake!

And the best part is this recipe is SOOO delicious yet so easy.

Ingredients :

  • 3/4 powdered sugar

  • 3/4 cup milk powder

  • 1/2 cup and 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 200g biscuits roughly crushed

  • 250g butter (at room temperature)

Directions:

  1. Place the butter, sugar , milk powder, and cocoa powder in a large bowl and mix until combined.

  2. In another bowl or in a plastic bag start by breaking the plain biscuits into smaller pieces (make sure the biscuits are broken roughly NOT turned into a powder).

  3. Stir the biscuits into the chocolate-butter mixture until its fully incorporated.

  4. Line some cling-film(plastic food wrap)or some parchment paper onto any clean working surface and pour half the mix onto the plastic and wrap tightly until it looks like a log.

  5. Repeat with the remaining mix and put the 2 logs into the freezer for 30-60 minutes until firm.

  6. Once firm cut up into 1-inch thick slices and serve .

  7. Bon Appétit !

  8. NOTE: Make sure to store remaining lazy cake slices in the fridge since if kept outside for too long they start to become soft.
