The Best Pancakes

I can't think of any breakfast that's better than a huge stack of fluffy pancakes showered with syrup :)

Makes about 12 pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg

  • 1 cup milk

  • 2 tbsp oil or melted butter

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 3 tsp baking powder

  • Toppings (butter, maple syrup, nuts , etc.)

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  2. Add the eggs and vanilla into the flour and mix until combined.

  3. Gradually add the milk as you mix to prevent any lumps from forming.

  4. Place a non stick pan onto medium high heat.

  5. Once the pan is hot, pour in 1/4 cup of pancake batter onto the pan.

  6. Flip the pancake when bubbles start to appear on the surface of the batter.

  7. Repeat with all the batter.

  8. Serve immediately and add toppings of choice.
